Air Duct

It's good to know about the types we will install for you.

Ceiling air conditioner

A ceiling air conditioner is mounted on the top of the wall of the house, close to the ceiling, so that the air coming out of it is directed downwards – towards the centre of the room. The major advantages of the ceiling air conditioner are space saving and relatively simple cooling of the air-conditioned space. Its disadvantage is mainly noticeable in the winter season and when it is required to heat, as hot air tends to rise upwards. Therefore, the heating process is somewhat slow, and consumes a relatively large amount of energy.

Mini central air conditioner (hidden)

A mini central air conditioner is an air conditioner that is usually installed in a hidden place in the house, and cools all the rooms of the house simultaneously using dedicated air ducts. Its main advantages are saving space (since there is no need to install an air conditioner in each room) and money (on installation and electricity costs). Since the air is circulated throughout the house at the same time, the energy consumption of this air conditioner is relatively high. In addition, in the event of a malfunction in the air conditioner, the air conditioning in the entire house is turned off.

Split air conditioner (multi)

Multi-unit air conditioning systems include a single condenser with multiple compressors, to which are connected several evaporator units in a variety of configurations – overhead, concealed or floor-standing. In fact, each evaporator is connected to an independent compressor, thus enabling control of each air conditioner separately and independently of the operation of the other air conditioners in the house. A multi-unit system is suitable for offices and homes where there is not enough space on the exterior walls to mount multiple condensers, or where there is no infrastructure for air ducts for a mini-central air conditioner.

PACKAGE AIR CONDITIONER (COMMERCIAL AIR CONDITIONING)

Package air conditioners are essentially industrial air conditioning systems. They consist of a refrigeration unit containing an evaporator, condenser and compressor, together with a built-in, ready-to-use air duct that extends directly from the factory to the installation site – without the need for any piping connections. These air conditioners are suitable for domestic and commercial use in places where evaporators cannot be installed in all rooms, or where the distance between the air conditioning area and the condenser is large, which reduces the efficiency of the system and causes greater electricity consumption.

Package air conditioners have three main advantages: maximum air conditioning capacity and full control over the heating/cooling capacity – thanks to the unified structure of the air conditioner and the fact that no external piping is used; space saving – the system can be placed anywhere near the air-conditioned space, and there is no need to allocate space for the evaporator units; energy savings – a result of a direct connection between the condenser and the evaporator.
